Because the U.S. government repeatedly showing the same degree of respect for the Constitution, why not the "Stars and Stripes, flattened to the ground to dirt, grease and dog feces on the floor of clean your shoes?

Of course! And very likely, Iran would be an excellent source for them, as the legendary Persian carpets are of high quality. Of course, imports from China would be less expensive.
It is very sad that the U.S. is no longer a champion of greater freedom. Is this the government is worse than almost any British than the Americans complain about the Declaration of Independence. The Americans are too stupid to realize it too.
I think I saw this actually somewhere (live in Europe). There were mats with different flags, but I am sure that the Stars & Stripes was one of the models available.
They should be very patriotic, for it is the first thing the people at the entrance of your home. True or not, depends on the perspective of the buyer, I think - I can not say I am not a doormat at all.
Personally, no - it disrespetful although I do not think it means.
