We are looking for an apartment in the Calgary area and found an application that requests information you do not feel well when we give birth, sin, and the monthly rent. We are honest - the workers not to "hide", we wondered if it was legal or if there are no laws about this in Alberta and the owner may claim that they want.

These are standard questions in all forms rental application because it needs the information from the credit bureaus, your credit rating. The information monthly income for the owner is known that a sufficient income to pay the rent.
The landlord loses money if it is a lessee, credit checks and income verification to distribute a matter of simply good.
Remember that this will be your future home, but the owners of the company and a great investment that the owner wants to be treated well.
Im sure that it is legal to ask whether you are obligated to give, is another matter.
